SURGOINSVILLE, TN – Brittney Danielle Norton, 37 went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer with her loving husband and caregiver Daniel by her side.

Brittney was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family and raising her children and enjoyed living life in general. Brittany was employed as an LPN in labor and delivery at Holston Valley Medical Center in which she was proud of.

Brittney is preceded in death by her grandmother, Sue, along with her mother and father-in-law Lester and Janice Norton, whom she thought of as her mother and father.

Brittney is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Norton, and their children, Daniel "little Daniel" and Lauren Norton; sisters in law and brothers in law Tammy (Robert) Adams; Susan (Teddy) Avery; Dustin (Courtney) Norton; nieces and nephews, Josh, Zach, Jeremiah, Alice And Rowan; Aunt, Lisa Shell (Ronnie); uncle and aunt, Kenny (Julie) Million; cousin, Lindsay (Brandon) Bollinger; special friends, Morgan Trent and Kellie West.

The Norton family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her Amedisys hospice nurses Megan, Amanda, and Tori along with her CNA Jennifer and social worker Sarah along with many other people for taking such wonderful care of Brittany during her illness.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Johnson – Arrowood Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Tipton and Chris Ball officiating.

A graveside service will be held at the Norton Family Cemetery in Surgoinsville on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
