Brodie Christopher King, 16, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 in a Chattanooga, TN hospital.
Brodie King's strength, spirit, and the love he shared with those around him will never be forgotten. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and appreciated. Brodie was a bright light in the lives of his family, friends, and teammates-kind, full of life, and always ready to make someone smile.
He was dependable, hardworking, and full of promise. But more than that, Brodie was genuinely good-the kind of person who would go out of his way to help someone without being asked, who made you laugh when you needed it most, and who never let the weight of the world dull his spirit.
Brodie was a proud member of the Bradley Central High School Bears football team and a part of the Class of 2027. He was also a big UT Vols fan. When the Vols were playing, we always knew where to find Brodie-cheering them on with passion.
Whether on the field or in the classroom, Brodie gave his all and touched the lives of many with his determination, heart, and character.
Brodie is survived by his parents, Chris King (Kelli Ray) and Brandie Rominger (Justin Rominger); his step-siblings, Emily Rominger and Cooper Rominger; his grandparents, David and Tana King, Lisa Palmer, and Jeff Price (Denia Price); and his great-grandparents, Kenneth and Patsy King, Marie Lambert, and Ritia Price.
He is also survived by his aunt and uncles Shauna King-Strain (Clayton Strain), Brent and Tanya Carter, Courtney Fowler (Cody Visage), and Alexus and Naaman Goodwin; as well as his cousins, Brayden Hoffman, Caleb Hoffman, Gage Carter, Skylar Mieseler, Ryder Visage, Zoey Goodwin, and Charlie Goodwin.
Brodie was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Roscoe Price, W.E. Posey, and Barbara Posey.
