Brody Wyatt Filburn

Brody Wyatt Filburn, 5 months and 6 days after his birth, passed away peacefully surrounded and held by his mother, father, and brother at his home in Simsbury. While Brody struggled with cancer treatments from the time of his birth, he radiated happiness and love to his parents, brother, grandparents, and extended family every day of his short life. Brody's life, while short, will forever be remembered and cherished by his mom Karen, dad Brendan, and brother Griffin; grandparents Thomas and Kathleen Filburn of Granby and Neal and Carol Jensen of Cromwell; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brody will be laid to rest by his family privately in Simsbury Cemetery. Karen and Brendan would like to invite family and friends to join them in celebrating this wonderful little boy who brought such love and devotion to his family at a Memorial Gathering held Saturday, September 2, 2023, from 1-3 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon. There will be a service to honor Brody at 2:30 PM.
