Brooke Erin Everett, of Fort Collins Colorado, passed away peacefully on June 20th, 2025 surrounded by all her loved ones, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She faced this brutal illness with unimaginable strength, grace, and resilience. Brooke was born on May 28th 1986 in Fort Collins, CO to Jack & Reon (Remington) Everett. She was loved by all who knew her & will be greatly missed.
Brooke spent her whole life in Fort Collins, aside from a brief stint living in Denver. She attended Lesher Middle School, where she was in Honor Choir & played basketball. She graduated from Fort Collins High School in 2004, then attended and worked at Front Range Community College, where she was awarded Employee of the Year. Brooke graduated from CSU in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services. Her greatest joy was being a mom to her sons Julian and Cyrus. She loved to sing, swim and camp. She brightened every room she entered.
She is survived by her sons Julian and Cyrus Everett of Fort Collins, her parents Jack and Reon Everett of Livermore, her siblings Tessa, Lexi and Jace Everett of Fort Collins, and her nephews Jayden and Destin Pascale of Fort Collins as well as her uncle, aunt and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents Leonard and Florence Everett of Loveland, Colorado and Buck and Jean Remington of Wilcox, Arizona as well as her aunts Pam and Cindy.
A Celebration of Life and Remembrance will take place on May 30, 2026, with the location to be announced at a later date.
Condolences may be sent to the family at www.LighthouseFamilyLFM.com. Contributions may be made to Julian and Cyrus Everetts Education Fund or Realities for Children in memory of Brooke Everett. Lighthouse Family Mortuary is entrusted with arrangements.
