Tim Ward, 72, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. He is now at peace after a courageous, but short, fight with leukemia.
A loving husband, father and Papa, Tim enjoyed bowling, golf, softball, puzzles and watching Denver Broncos football. He loved his wife and children very much and worked hard to provide for them. In the latest season of his life, he prioritized his role of Papa by spending quality time with his five grandchildren.
A Colorado native, Tim graduated from North High School in 1971 before continuing his education at Colorado State University and the University of Colorado. Throughout college, Tim worked at Center Pharmacy as a soda jerk. During this time, he met his future wife Holly Olson when he made her regular vanilla malts. In October 1977, he passed the boards and became a registered pharmacist. For over 30 years, Tim worked as a staff pharmacist and eventual owner of Raleigh Pharmacy proudly serving the Sloan's Lake community.
Tim is survived and missed by his wife, Holly Ward, his children Hillary (Loren) Morris, Miranda (Scott) Brands and Carla (Levi) Howes-Stanley and grandchildren Mack, Connor, Reagan, Dillon and Madison. He is also survived by his brother Thomas (Audrey) Ward and several nieces and nephews.
