Willis "Nick" Moon passed Away on September 29, 2025 at his home in Thornton, Colorado with his sister, Vicky and niece Bobbie by his side.

Nick was born on October 2, 1941 in Mankato, Kansas to Willis F. Moon and Edna Ryan Reese Moon.

He served his country in the Marines from January 5, 1960 until December 10, 1963 when he was honorably discharged to the Marine Corps reserves where he served until January 4, 1966 during the service to his country, Nick spent time in California and Hawaii. After returning to Colorado from the service he went to work for American pipeline where he was employed for the majority of his lifetime. When that company sold he went to work for West hazmat where he was employed until retirement, in his spare time Nick like to gamble on his phone, as well as an occasional trip up the hill to feed the machines. Nick was loved by many and will be missed immensely.

He is preceded in death by his son Shane Moon, father Willis F Moon, mother Edna Dean, step father Harold Dean, brothers Bob moon (Betty), Freddie Moon, Rick Moon, and Lonnie Moon. Sisters, Barbara Patterson (Charles),Marilyn Sickler(Bob), along with three nephews, Troy Atkinson, William Moon, and Robbie Sickler, and two nieces Judy Nalow, and Carrie Atkinson(Allison).

He is survived by Janet, Renee (Ralph), Tyson and Anthony. Sisters, Vicky Atkinson, Pat Martinez(Pete), Martha Scott(Dan), Laura Fritz(Dale), brothers Larry Dean (Melinda), Lester Dean (Diana), & numerous nieces, nephews and close friends, of which a few he was very close with Mike Patterson (Debbie), Mark Moon(Chris), Rick Moon (Diane), Sheila Thomason (Leonard).

Rest in peace Nick you will be missed by many.
