(February 5, 1947 – September 25, 2025)

Patricia Anne Grant, age 78. passed away peacefully at home on September 25,2025.

Patricia was born on February 5, 1947 in the Bronx, New York to Malcolm John Downey and Margaret Rita (Geany) Downey. She grew up in the Bronx and married the love of her life, James C Grant, in the Borough of the Bronx on August 9, 1968.

They were together until his death on February 13, 2010. Upon her husband's death, Patricia moved from Florida to Colorado to live with her brother, Michael, and his wife, Schez.

Patricia had a loving and gentle spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends in Colorado and especially enjoyed her grand nephews, Wyatt and Callan Downey. She was always there for them and was a constant in their lives from the time of their births. Patricia is survived by her brother, Michael John Downey and his wife, Schez.

She is also survived by her siblings' children: Josh Downey and his wife, Lauren Downey, Kenneth Downey, Michele Lyons and Christine Sarvis. She has 10 grand nephews and nieces: Wyatt and Callan Downey, Kacie Downey, Bryana Nohamcm, Brittany Killeen, Jayde and Dylan Lyons, Madison, Miya and Jordan Alfonso.

She is also survived by three great grand nieces and nephews: Aaliyah and Elena Watson and Kayden Colon.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held in the Spring of 2026.
