Brooke Hanson Nye

On Sunday, October 6, Brooke Hanson Nye, beloved daughter, went to rejoin her Heavenly Father in fully renewed body. Brooke was 33 years old. Although Brooke met with numerous challenges beginning at an early aged age, those who knew her could not help but be humbled and inspired by her strength, persistence, and quiet joy. This resilient spirit and radiant positivity led Brooke to be named Irmo Middle School's "Student of the Year" for the 2005-2006 school year. The purity of Brooke's love was a great teacher to those who knew her; its absence will be greatly felt.
She is predeceased by grandparents Bobby and Doris Green and grandfather Bill Nye, and uncle Karl Sjoberg. Brooke is survived by her mother and father, Lynn and Nelson Nye, sister, English Cousins (Christopher), and brother, Tres Nye, and grandmother Lib Nye. Also surviving Brooke are her paternal aunts, Jeannie Johnson, and Annette Allen (Ronald), and maternal uncle Billy Green (Michele), and aunt Lori Sjoberg, Brooke is also survived by several cousins.
