Funeral services for Mrs. Brooksie Fay Arrington, age 90, will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m.

Mrs. Arrington, a retired factory employee, was born on July 28, 1933, and passed away on November 15, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wade Arrington; her parents, Talma and Brooksie Knott Mitchell; and three brothers, Ray, Jerry, and Charlie Mitchell.

She is survived by her three daughters, Judy (Tony) Michael of Bradford, Janie (Nick) Appleton of Atwood, and Christy (Rod) Cleek of Bartlett, seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Cooper, Jonathan (Annie) Michael, Isaac (Jenny) Ervin, Elly (Andrew) Crossett, Preston Cleek, Elizabeth Cleek, and Ben Cleek; and eight great-grandchildren, Oliva, Noah, and Hannah Cooper; Grace, Andie, Leo Crossett; and Garrett and Charley Kate Michael.

 

Pallbearers: Isaac Ervin, Jonathan Michael, Ben Cleek, Josh Cooper, Andrew Crossett, and Terry Mitchell.



Honorary Pallbearer: Preston Cleek.
