Bruce Edward Allee was born September 16, 1952 in Lebanon, Missouri to Gene and Hester Alexander Allee. He entered eternal rest on Monday, February 9, 2026 in his home in Lebanon, Missouri. Bruce was seventy-three years, four months and twenty-four days of age.

Bruce was raised in Laclede County and graduated from Stoutland High School. He created the Lebanon Rural Fire/Sleeper Rural Fire Department. He was very proud to have played a role in founding these fire departments and was passionate about firefighting.

On June 23, 1978, he was united in marriage to Pamela Willadsen. They were married for thirty-nine years until she passed away on November 1, 2017.

Bruce had a heart for children in foster care and served as a foster parent to many children over the years.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Hester Allee.

He is survived by his son, Adam Allee and his fiancé Jessica Evans of Lebanon, Missouri; his grandson, Christian Hunter Allee; three brothers, Brent Allee, Gene Allee and Norman Allee; and over seventy foster children; his best friend, Herman West; and a close family friend, Carl Metzger; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Bruce was a truck driver throughout his working career. He drove a dump truck for Darrel Gregory and Willard Quarries. He also served as a security guard for White Star Security with Rick Donald.

He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Sleeper and was very active in the Sleeper community.

In his spare time, Bruce enjoyed camping and cutting wood in his younger days. He loved his dogs, enjoyed eating BBQ, and respected his family roots. He will be remembered for his wonderful ability to tell stories. He always had a story to entertain his audience.

As we remember Bruce, we celebrate a life well lived, marked by an enduring commitment to service and a profound love for his family and community. His life exemplified providing and caring for others that will continue to inspire all who knew him. Bruce's memory will be treasured in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.
