WEST MILTON -- Bruce B. Baker, age 69, of West Milton, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Miami Valley Hospital North. He was born April 25, 1953 to Boyd C. & Glenna (Day) Baker in Troy, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents. He will be missed and remembered by his loving wife Linda L. (Schilling) Baker of 37 years; children Kim Baker of Arcanum, Randall Baker of Fairborn, and Greg Baker of Arcanum; 5 grandchildren; siblings Ken Baker of Kentucky, Rich Baker of Wilmington, Jackie Baker of Greenfield, Dewight Baker of West Milton, Brice Baker of Pleasant Hill, Pam Baker of Pleasant Hill. Bruce loved spending time outdoors and doing some woodworking. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Milton and had worked as a security guard for Children's Hospital and Keg Two. Bruce also worked as a police officer for West Milton and Englewood as well as a Park Ranger in Miami County for 10 years. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516. Online memories of Bruce may be left for the family at www.hale-sarver.com
