Bruce Allen Ball, 76, passed away on September 08, 2025 at his home in Franklinton. Bruce was born in James City County, VA on April 07, 1949 to the late Jay Milton and Joanne Margaret Wilson Ball. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Sue Ball, and his grandson Benjamin Cole.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rowena Lyons Ball; his children, Susie Kretzschmar (Lutz), Rich Bowen (Kathleen), Angela Bowen , Jonathan Wilson (Jeanie) Leslie Cahoon; his grandchildren, Logan Bullock (Austin), Makayla Hinton (Gavin), Trinity Cahoon, Elizabeth Cahoon, Harper Cahoon, Haley Wedderien, (Alex), Hannah Faas (Michael), Chris Cole, Sam Cole, Max Cole, Addie Bowen, Lula Clare Bowen, Ellie Roth, Libby Roth, Clementine Koch: his great grandchilden, Liam Wedderien, Max Wedderien, Holden Bullock, Hunter Bullock, Kaiser Landry. His siblings, Chris Ball (Mary), Wendy Ball Williams (Glen), Kevin Ball (Georgianna) and his beloved neices & nephews and their families, his lifelong best friends, Nelson, Tuffy, & Steve

A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at 11 am on Saturday September 20, 2025 at Franklinton United Methodist Church, 109 N. Main St. Franklinton, NC 27525, with Rev. Johnny Llerena officiating.
