Bruce Owen Bloom, 70, of Goshen, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at his residence. He was born on November 26, 1955, in Union City, Indiana, to Robert Leo Bloom and Phyllis Marie (Ferguson) Bloom.
Bruce later married Irma Sue Bloom, who survives him. He is also survived by his children: Robert Bloom, Sarah Purkey, Tricia Whitehead, Tammy Smith, and Timothy Whitehead; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his brothers, Mikael Bloom and Mark Bloom. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rob Allen Bloom.
Bruce worked in manufacturing as a forklift driver. He loved spending time outdoors fishing, tending to his garden, cooking and barbequing for family and friends, and he enjoyed relaxing with video games.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, from 4–7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place Saturday, December 6, at 12:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.
