Bruce R. Bredickas, 78, formerly of Downingtown, PA passed away on September 19, 2025, just days shy of his 79th birthday.
Born in 1946 in Shenandoah, PA, Bruce was the son of the late Victor and Elizabeth (née Sabalusky) Bredickas.
Bruce served honorably in the US Navy, Electronics Tech, Petty Officer 3rd Class. He was the owner of the Ralston & Bredickas Funeral Home for many years. He loved spending time with his family at the shore and enjoyed fishing, golf, skiing and watching the Philadelphia Eagles’ games.
Bruce was the beloved husband, for 32 years, of Carol Bredickas (née Anton); loving father of Bruce R. Bredickas, Jr. (Lauren), Beth Bredickas-Manning and Jae Anton Swenson (Todd); devoted grandfather of Walker and Kaden Bredickas, Madison and Nicolas Manning, and Abigail and Alex Swenson; dear brother of Robert Bredickas (Norma); and dear uncle of Vincent and Paul Bredickas.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the Treasure Coast Hospice Foundation, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997, www.treasurehealth.org.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
