David Bruce Morgan Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. Born on March 23, 1945, in Orbisona, Pennsylvania, David lived a life marked by dedication to his family, service to his country, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
David proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. Following his active-duty service, he continued his commitment to national defense through the Air Force Reserve, where he achieved the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. His military career reflected his steadfast sense of duty and discipline.
Professionally, David devoted over three decades to Sears & Roebuck Distribution Center in King of Prussia. After Sears, he continued working at SmithKline Beecham Distribution Center for 15 years. His strong work ethic and reliability earned him the respect of colleagues throughout his career.
Outside of work and service, David found joy in traveling and camping across the country in his RV. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting whenever he had the chance. Flea marketing was another favorite pastime-he loved discovering hidden treasures.
David will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Michelle Morgan; his sons, David Morgan Jr. (Selena) and Kevin Morgan (Ami); his brothers, Joseph Morgan and Charles Morgan; and his cherished grandchildren, Dominick, Nicolas, Jack, and Nathan. He is also fondly remembered by all whose lives were touched by his kindness and generosity.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Morgan; his first wife, Sally Morgan; and his brothers, Richard Morgan and Edward Morgan.
A man known for always being there to help anyone in need, David leaves behind a legacy of compassion and quiet strength. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring. Family and friends will be notified.
