Bruce L. Brown, age 71, of Arlington, Nebraska, passed away on January 15, 2026, in Fremont.
He was born on May 9, 1954, in Fremont, to Donald E. and Betty "Carletta" (Kincanon) Brown.
Bruce grew up on the family farm and attended Arlington Public Schools before graduating from Wanamingo High School in Minnesota in 1972. He married LaRita Wallaker in 1972; and later Cindy Burris in 1984; both marriages ended in divorce. He married Elizabeth "Beth" Diggs in August 2008.
Bruce spent most of his life as a truck driver, traveling millions of miles across the country. He enjoyed sports, especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and treasured time with his loyal dog, Rex.
He is survived by his children Heather (Marc) Fredrickson, Anthony (Deanne) Brown, Justin (Chelsea) Brown, Danielle (Casey) Grivy, and Kyle (Holli Jackson) Brown; stepdaughter Angela Kinkead; siblings William "Bill" (Patty) Brown and Amy Brown; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beth Brown; parents, Donald Brown and Carletta Stoll; and stepson, Douglas "DJ" Kinkead, Jr.
Memorial Service will be 11 AM Monday, January 26, 2026 at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Chaplain Scott Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Monday prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Arlington City Cemetery in Arlington.
