Mr. Bruce Dahman, age 65, of
Covington, Georgia, passed away on January 18, 2026. Born on July 26, 1960, Bruce lived a life defined by sacrificial love, faith, kindness, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to his family and friends.
Bruce was an avid hunter and fisherman, happiest when he was outdoors and sharing those moments with the people he loved. He especially cherished camping trips with his family and friends, where laughter, stories, and the simple joy of being together created memories that will be held close forever. He looked forward to his annual hunting camping trips with friends.
He was a hardworking man who found great joy and pride in his work and his work ethic was unmatched. He could fix just about anything and never hesitated to lend a hand or even offer free jobs to individuals who were in need. He was a man of integrity-someone you could always count on and trust-and for this reason, he never needed to market his business. He never met a stranger, greeting everyone with warmth and a smile. His selflessness was felt by all who crossed his path-friends, neighbors, and even those he had only just met.
Bruce was a man of deep faith who loved God profoundly. He prayed earnestly for his friends and family, always believing God for a miracle. He carried a "living hope" found only in Jesus Christ and faithfully shared God's love and truth with those around him.
Bruce loved adventure and was often the most joyful presence in the room. He took his children on countless adventures while they were growing up-from camping trips and fishing tournaments to theme parks, motocross tracks, and go-kart racing. He participated in it all, full of laughter and joy.
He was truly dedicated to the love of his life, Dale, whom he fell in love with after their first date at a chicken shack many years ago. They were constantly together often taking time to try new camping spots in Georgia and Florida. Their favorite getaway was on St. Joseph's Peninsula, where the clear turquoise waters and abundant wildlife brought rest, peace, and fun.
Above all, Bruce loved deeply. His family and friends were the center of his world, and his happy spirit, kindness, and willingness to help others will remain a lasting legacy. Those who knew him will remember a man who gave freely, lived fully, and made every person feel valued.
Bruce's presence will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to shine through the countless lives he touched. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dale; his children, Timmy, Kayleigh, Johnny, Kaytlan, Rachael, Andy, Emi June, Derek, and Christina; his brother, Jeff; his sisters, Theresa, Colleen D., Carol, and Colleen S.; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Services will take place on Saturday, January 31, beginning at 12:30 p.m. The burial will be held at Honey Creek Woodlands Cemetery, 2625 GA-212,
Conyers, GA. A memorial service and reception will follow at 3:00 p.m. at The Father's House Church, 1203 Royal Dr SW,
Conyers, GA.
