Bruce Dee

Bruce Earl Dee, age 68, of Golden, Oklahoma, passed on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at his home in Golden, Oklahoma. He was born on Monday, August 19, 1957, to his parents, Jess Dee and Mary Gantt in Idabel, Oklahoma.

He was raised in McCurtain County, where he spent his childhood hunting, fishing, riding horses, and exploring the woods and creeks of Southeast Oklahoma-activities that shaped his lifelong love for the outdoors. He graduated from Broken Bow High School and, a few years later, married the love of his life, the late Tina Passmore of Holly Creek.

Together, Bruce and Tina shared 43 years of marriage, raised four sons, and built a life rooted in hard work and devotion to family. Bruce dedicated over 40 years to the same construction company, a testament to his strong work ethic, loyalty, and commitment.

Bruce enjoyed shooting at deer he could never hit, fishing for fish that wouldn't bite, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a hardworking man and a loving, supportive husband, father, brother, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina Dee, and his parents.

He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, James and Karen Dee of Emerald Isle, North Carolina, Troy and Jessica Dee of Edmond, Oklahoma, Timmy and Kristen Dee of Lenoir City, Tennessee and Jay Dee of Golden, Oklahoma; his five beautiful grandchildren, Emma, Eli, Sienna, Ava, and Levi; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. at the Holly Creek Cemetery in Holly Creek, Oklahoma. No visitation is planned. Services are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
