Bruce Dolce Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Crematory on Mar. 9, 2026.
Bruce Dominic Dolce, Sr., passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends. He was born on April 17, 1973, in Batavia, New York, but shortly after, he moved to Okeechobee, the place where he called home. He was born to Frank Dolce Sr. and Mary King and grew into a man known for his deep love of family, loyalty to friends, and kindhearted spirit.

Bruce shared 16 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, his wife, Vicki Dolce. Together they built a life centered around family, laughter, and adventure. Bruce especially enjoyed camping, traveling, and trying new foods with his best friend and partner, Vicki. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his sons riding and building minibikes, creating memories that will live on through them.

Bruce was a loving and caring man who made it a priority to stay connected with his family and close friends. Whether through a phone call, visit, or simply checking in, he made sure the people he loved always knew they mattered. His warmth, humor, and steady presence made him someone others naturally turned to. In his final months, Bruce focused on living life as fully as he could, often joking about being a "pot head" while doing his best to enjoy the moments he had and make memories with those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Dolce Sr.; his mother, Mary Dolce; his brother, Frank Dolce Jr.; his Aunt "Dee", his best friend, Jason Buchannon; and many other close friends and family who held a special place in his heart.

Bruce is survived by his devoted wife, Vicki Dolce; his daughters, Alexis (Kyle) Watson and Brittany Dolce of Okeechobee; and his sons, Bruce Dolce Jr. and Allen (Britney) Thornton of Okeechobee. He is also survived by his brother, Robert "Bob" (Benita) Blaker of Boaz, Alabama; and his sister, Victoria "Vicky" (David Sr.) Rogers of Okeechobee, Florida.

Bruce leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, including Robert "Bob Jr." (Lauren) Blaker of Boaz, Alabama, Chasity and Adam Marsh of Okeechobee, Tashanna (Owen) Oliver of Melbourne, Naomi (Brooklyn) Thornton of Lake City, David (Stephanie) Rogers Jr., and Brady (Britani) Rogers of Okeechobee.

He was a proud grandfather to Layton, Kylie, Lilly, Jase, and Jayla, who brought him endless joy.

Bruce also leaves behind his loving dogs-Tito, Penelope (Nell), and Priss-who meant the world to him, and we often call "his fight to get home." They were a constant source of comfort and companionship until the end.

Bruce will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His love for his family, his adventurous spirit, and his genuine care for others will never be forgotten.

Loved by many, cherished by all.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home.
