Bruce Edward Frank, 68, our beloved father passed away suddenly and unexpected on November 21, 2025. Bruce was born in Fort Morgan, CO on August 23, 1957 to Raymond and Rosalie Frank. He spent his early childhood years on the family farm outside of Wiggins until they later moved to Fort Morgan. Growing up his family loved spending time going to stock car races, rodeos, bowling, and fishing; all of which became some of his favorite hobbies for life.

Bruce became a car enthusiast at a young age, always having multiple cars, hot rodding and causing mischief throughout his teenage years, something that never changed. He lived in Colorado, California, and eventually moved to Idaho where he met his first wife Norma, at the bowling alley. Bruce and Norma married in May of 1993, and welcomed their first child Courtney. They bought their first home outside of Mountain Home where they later welcomed two more children, Casandra and Gabriel. The family lived in mtn home for ten years until they later moved to Boise. Their family spent a lot of time traveling to the bowling alley where Bruce and Norma bowled on weekly leagues, and to the racetrack every Saturday night. They also spent summers camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and boating.

Bruce loved racing stock cars. He raced for many years at a dirt track in Colorado and then for many years at Meridian Speedway, Firebird, Chaparral, and Magic Valley Speedway. He had a need for speed and loved to make things loud; which his kids, nieces and nephews loved. He earned the nickname Uncle Dude, and all the kids would give a thumbs up and say Cool Dude whenever he would rev an engine, and make his old trucks backfire.

Bruce had various jobs working as a mechanic, in the oil field, building and painting horse trailers, and farming. He worked at Western Trailers for close to 16 years as a painter, welder, and fabricator. During his time at Western Trailers, he played on the work softball team as a catcher. He carried on with his favorite #77, same as his stock car number. His family loved to cheer him on and embarrass him by calling him Brucey Baby as he'd round the bases. He later left Western Trailers to pursue self-employment and worked as a pilot truck driver.

Bruce and Norma later divorced in 2009, and Bruce resided in the Boise area for a few years until he later moved to Adrian, Oregon. This is where he met and married his second wife Tami in 2014. While Bruce and Tami were married, they enjoyed horseback riding with her kids, attending rodeos, camping, fishing, and going shooting. Bruce and Tami split in 2016 and he then moved to Nyssa, OR where he resided until he passed.

Bruce became a grandpa in 2018, when he had two grandkids born two months a part, Raelynn and Kendrick. He later had a second grandson Carter born in 2020, and a second granddaughter Emberly born in 2021. Bruce loved to buy the grandkids their first pair of cowboy boots and dress them up in western attire. He was known by his grandkids as Papa Bruce and Grandpa Frank. Each December the kids and grandkids would get together for "Frank family Christmas", going bowling and staying up all night playing various games of uno.

Bruce never officially retired. He spent close to the last decade working at Nyssa Tractor and Implement, where he always said he was treated like family. He loved getting to work on all the old tractors. Bruce spent his whole life fixing things. He was quite the handyman and jack of all trades. From painting, welding, building things, and fixing cars he really could do it all. Bruce loved nascar, watching his broncos play football, old westerns, boating and throwing everyone off the tube. He could look at any old pickup or car and tell you the year, make and model and he loved to collect them. He was an old cowboy at heart. You could always find him in a pair of wranglers, cowboy boots, a cutoff tee, with a mountain dew in hand.

This year Bruce reconnected and rekindled an old flame from 50 years ago with Teri. The two had the opportunity to travel together on a three-week vacation late this summer in Colorado and Missouri, in which they both enjoyed. We will always remember Bruce our father, brother, uncle and friend with fond memories.

Bruce is proceeded in death by his father Raymond Frank, mother Rosalie Samuel, along with grandparents and aunts and uncles. Bruce leaves behind his children: Courtney (Logan)Boyle, Casandra (Skyler)Darkes, Gabriel (Isabel)Frank and stepson Bryon (Emily)Young. Four grandchildren, Raelynn & Carter Darkes, Kendrick & Emberly Boyle. His sisters Crystal Rymer, Cheryl (Mike) Ridley, and Debra McKibbin. Nephews Kellen & Damian, nieces Aimee, Bethany, and Kendall. Stepfather Ed Samuel, and girlfriend Teri Bokn.
