Robert Lawrence Sisco passed away on October 25, 2025, in Mountain Home, Idaho, at the age of 79. Born on September 25, 1946, in Owosso, Michigan, Bob lived a life marked by service, dedication, commitment to his family, and deep personal passions.

Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cheryl Sisco, Sons Matthew and Aaron Sisco, Sister Becky Norman, and Brother Tom Sisco. He was preceded in death by his Father Lawrence Sisco, Mother Gertrude Sisco, and Sister Rosemary Sisco.

Bob proudly served his country for three decades in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1993, rising to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. Bob led a distinguished military career, beginning at McGuire AFB with the BOMARC missile squadron. Alongside his military service, Bob pursued academic excellence and earned a Master's degree in Psychology. His education reflected his lifelong interest in understanding people and supporting others through both professional and personal avenues. Bob taught Psychology in all its variants for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Park College, and Boise State University. He was also a Wing Senior Enlisted Advisor at Davis Monthan AFB. He retired from the Air Force as Chief of Social Actions at Mountain Home AFB, where he contributed meaningfully to the well-being and cohesion of his fellow service members. His commitment to them, duty, and integrity left a lasting impression on those who served alongside him.

Outside of his professional life, Bob found joy in music-particularly through playing the Dobro guitar- and family. His love for music was more than a pastime; it was a way he connected with others and expressed himself. He LOVED donating his time to children, and did so at the Children's House Montessori School in Mountain Home. Among his most cherished roles was that of grandfather-a title he wore with pride and warmth. He is survived by 2 granddaughters, Alicia and Alaina; a grandson, Brandon, two great-granddaughters, Reygan and Elliot, and a great-grandson, Lucas.

Though he described himself as a "recovering Catholic," Bob's spiritual journey was uniquely his own-marked by reflection and authenticity.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire lives rooted in service, learning, music, and family. A Memorial Service will be held on November 10, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Rost Funeral Home 500 N 18th E in Mtn. Home.
