I didn´t know Mr. Lemay, but my son did as a fellow engineer. He really enjoyed training under Bruce and shared many experiences about him. All good. The RR industry is a great place to have a career. I´m sure Mr Lemay relished his tenure with trains.

Bruce was exactly the same age as myself, so it was a real shock! I was fishing from the next dock next to where Bruce was fishing at our lake just a week ago and we were taking back and forth over an hour or two about the crappie fishing that evening. Imagine my surprise when I heard that Bruce had suddenly passed a few days later! I didn´t know Bruce well, but I did notice his passion for fishing early on, and found him to be a very nice, unassuming guy. I can understand his family and those close to him will have a huge hole in their lives to fill. Yes, he was a very nice man indeed.
Rest In Peace Bruce.

Very sorry to hear of Bruces passing. My deepest condolences to his wonderful family and friends. I worked with Bruce for over six years and found him to be unwaveringly competent and loyal to his profession and to his fellow employees. Bruce was one of the finest locomotive engineers Amtrak ever employed and a wonderful person off the job. His sense of humor, professionalism and overall demeanor made him a joy to work with and be around. God bless you Bruce and thanks for the memories. You will be missed!
