Bruce Milven McKinney, age 65, of Loraine, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 surrounded by family.
His wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Bruce was born on July 14, 1960 in Loraine, Texas to John and Annie Joe (Huff) McKinney. He married Chreyl Clements in July, 1976 in Loraine, Texas. He had lived most of his life in Sweetwater and Loraine. He worked as a heavy machinery operator for Randal Smith, West Texas Rock for many years before retiring. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Chreyl Clements McKinney of Loraine, Texas; daughter, Angela Smith of Sweetwater, Texas, and son, Bruce Lee McKinney of Texas; granddaughters, Zoey (Monkey) Smith, and Latasha Morris; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Annie Jo McKinney, and two brothers, Eddie Dawson and Johnny McKinney.
