Bruce K. Shaw

Bruce K Shaw, age 88 of Upper Chichester, PA passed away on May, 15 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Joseph and Maude Wright Shaw in Chester, PA and raised in Trainer, PA. Bruce served his country in the Navy during the Korean War, he was a machinist mate - third class on the Vulcan - Home Port Norfolk, VA. Bruce worked as an Electrician-Combustion Service Operator for Atlantic City Electric for 25 years. He also worked for Scott Paper. After retirement, Bruce worked as a maintenance man at Holy Savior School and Holy Family School. He loved woodworking, gardening, and he was a jack of all trades. In addition to his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Maiorano, who passed in Jan. 2023, brother, Joseph Shaw, and son-in-law, Tom Richardson. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Junto Shaw, children, Lisa Richardson, and Bruce Shaw, siblings, Fred Shaw, Sara Brown, Betty Lou Pekala, and Judy Osborne, grandchildren; Matthew Richardson, Joseph German, Jennifer Mcghee, and Joseph Shaw, and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Matthew, Bella, Kiersten, Damion, Joseph, Harper, and Riley. A visitation for Bruce will be held on Tuesday, May 23, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Wilmington, DE from 10:00 - 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
