Kenneth C. Donahoe, age 87, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on October 17, 2025, at AccentCare at Wilmington Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Wilmington, Kenneth was born in the city and remained deeply rooted in the community throughout his life. Kenneth graduated from PS Dupont High School, class of 1956 and served in the Delaware Army National Guard from 1956 - 1964. He worked for many years as an assistant manager with Diamond State Telephone and later with Bell Telephone Company of Pennsylvania, retiring in 1984. Following his retirement, he founded and operated his own business, Key Tel Communications, until his second retirement in 1999.
Kenneth was a devoted member of Chester Bethel Church and had a passion for model railroading. For over 50 years, he generously shared that passion by hosting open house events, welcoming others to enjoy the detailed world he created with his model trains.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence F. and Elinor Wood Donahoe and a sister, Barbara MacDonald. He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Elizabeth Petit de Mange Donahoe; his son, Lawrence Donahoe and daughter-in-law, Annamarie; sisters, Kay (John) Wykpisz; and brother in law, Edward MacDonald and three cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Lilianna, and Owen.
Funeral services will be held privately. Online condolences may be shared at www.paganofuneralhome.com

My condolences to Liz and family. My husband and I were friends with Kenny (and Liz) for many years. We were all in the "train" family. My prayers are with each of you. God Bless.
