Bruce Smith

Bruce Anthony Smith began his life journey on February 04, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the oldest son of Henry and Lillie Mae Smith.

He received his education in the Fort Worth Independent School District and was a graduate of Dunbar High School in 1972, where he ran track and was in the marching band. He also received a degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and later served in the Army National Guard.

Bruce's Christian education began at Stewart Chapel, CME Church with the late Reverend John Barnett, Pastor, then later uniting with Truevine Missionary Baptist Church, Reverend Jack Crane, Pastor.

On November 22, 2025, Bruce left his earthly body to be with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ballinger Smith. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters, Uricka Harris (Wendell), Jasmine Smith (Jamail), his siblings, Brenda Wilson (Nathaniel), Jerome Smith, Gary Smith, Yolanda Sims (Edward), Cleveland Smith (Heidi), 2 grandsons, Amaziah Keith-Anthony Smith & Da'Moni

Keithan-Bruce Smith, bonus granddaughter, Aiyonna Harris, several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
