Bruce Trice Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Brewer & Sons Funeral Homes - Spring Hill Chapel on Sep. 10, 2023.
Bruce was born on August 19th, 1969, and arrived at the Trice household when he was 6 weeks old. He was only 18 months when he traveled Europe and started his first collection – Matchbox cars!
Bruce spent every summer with his family and a friend traveling to historic spots on the East and West Coasts.
As he got older and into high school, he joined the swing choir, singing bass and dancing! He was in a band which "grew" in our basement until he left to attend Ball State. He could not find a good "fit" until he moved to Florida and discovered Full Sail University where he was Salutatorian of his class.
Due to his experience, he landed a job at Royal Viking, where he was in charge of sound production. Because of this, he sailed around the world twice and had many great adventures.
He returned to Florida and started his own audio company along with playing drums in many different bands, which he loved. This helped him create a network of friends and "family" in the local music community. No matter what he was going through, it was his mission to put a smile on every person he came in contact with.
His pride and joy was his son Liam whom he shared with his Ex-Wife Cassie Rhodes. He married Cassie in 2008, Liam was born in 2011.
Bruce is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Tampa and began playing drums in the Praise Band. This expanded into his involvement with their sound system. His involvement in the church helped mold him into the man he became.
He will be dearly missed and forever in many hearts.
