Bruce A. "Broose" Walter

Bruce A. "Broose" Walter, 61, of West Easton, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at his home surrounded by his wife and daughters.
Born April 12, 1964, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late Harvey G. and Doris J. (Brinker) Walter.
He and his wife, Shirley A. "Sue" (Stull) Walter, celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on September 4, 2025.
Bruce graduated from Wilson Area High School, Class of 1982.
He was employed as a maintenance specialist at the Easton Suburban Water Authority, where he worked for 34 years.
An avid outdoorsman, Bruce enjoyed fishing, hunting, fishing trips to Canada and New York, kayaking, camping and hiking.
In addition to his wife, Sue, he is survived by three daughters, Ashley E. Kluge and her husband James of Glendon, Shannon M. Walter and her fiancé James Jones III of Wilson Borough, and Madison L. Walter of West Easton; two grandsons, Nikolaos Tsiounis and Jaxon Jones; a brother, Gary G. Walter of Allentown; his in-laws, Leon Stull, Jr. and Louisa Stull of West Easton; a sister-in-law, Toni Riehl and her husband Richard of Forks Township; two brothers-in-law, Leon Stull III and his wife Linda of Forks Township, and Kevin Stull of West Easton; nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins; and his beloved cats, Milo, Hamilton, Gus and Remy. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Neal R. Walter, and a sister, Nancy J. Derringer.
