Bryan Barton Obituary

Bryan Barton
Thayer - Bryan Anthony Barton, 47, of Thayer, passed away March 17, 2026, at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield. He was born July 9, 1978, in Pordenone, Italy, the son of Gerry (Tammy) Barton and Dorothy (Jim)Dautel, and they both survive.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Alex Knox Barton; three sisters, Brandi Yvonne Maulutinok, Allyson Straugh, Tiffanie Worsham, Bridgett Crawford; and friend, Amelia Crawford Barton.
In his younger years Bryan played baseball and football, then later working in Aviation in his adult years at West Star Aviation in Alton, Illinois. He also loved fast cars, and playing video games with his son.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday March 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Illinois. Burial will take place Wednesday March 25, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Diamond Grove Cemetery in Jacksonville, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials made to the American Heart Association. Williamson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left online @www.airsman-hires.com.
