It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bryan Curtis Billings, 54, who left us on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Born on January 7, 1971, in Grayson County to the late Agnes Billings, Bryan touched the lives of many with his passion for life and his love for family. A proud graduate of Carroll County High School, Class of 1989, he was an avid fan of golf, basketball, his beloved Tarheels and Cowboys, and enjoyed rides on his Harley and days out on the water. Most importantly, he cherished the time spent with his two sons, Seth and Carter. Bryan was preceded in death by his mother and two uncles, Bill Isom and Bud Akers. He is survived by his sons, Seth and Carter Billings; his aunt Charlene Isom and Linda Akers; cousins Sherry (Curtis) Cornett, Jeanette (Aaron) Hildebrand, and Richard (Charlene) Isom; as well as his special friend, Valerie Huffin. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM in the Gentry Family Chapel, conducted by Rev. Jackie Poe and Rev. Jeff Yeatts. In this difficult time, let us come together to honor and remember Bryan’s spirit and how he touched our lives. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Billings family.
