A Funeral Service for Bryan D. Brockmann, age 73, of
Granada, MN, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the East Chain Evangelical Free Church in
East Chain, MN. Burial will be held following the service in the East Chain Evangelical Free Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Bryan passed away Wednesday morning, December 17, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Bryan Dean Brockmann was born on June 25, 1952, to Rudolph and Lyla (Anderson) Brockmann in
Fairmont, MN. He graduated from Granada High School with the Class of 1970.
Bryan was united in marriage on December 6, 1975, to Kimberly Madsen at the East Chain Evangelical Free Church. This marriage was blessed with three children, Scott, Andrea and Amy. They made their home on a farm outside of Granada. Bryan was a lifelong farmer where he raised dairy cows, beef cattle and hogs. He loved to be out in the field farming, baling hay, or walking beans. Bryan formed a farming partnership, Brockmann Brothers with his brother, Bruce, and they spent many years working together.
Bryan was a lifelong member of East Chain Evangelical Free Church where he held many offices throughout the years. His faith was important to him and showed in the way he lived his life to others. Bryan loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Kim Brockmann; children, Scott (Shauna) Brockmann, Andrea (Jeff) Wigfield and Amy (Nate) Truman; ten grandchildren, Jack Brockmann, Peyton Truman, Ben Brockmann, Carter Wigfield, Easton Truman, Katelyn Truman, Brock Wigfield, Sam Brockmann, Ian Wigfield and Cullen Wigfield; sister, Sandra Larson; brother, Bruce (Cheryl) Brockmann; sisters-in-law, Pat (Gene) Hugoson and Diane (Marlyn) Teeter; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Lyla Brockmann; parents-in-law, Maynard and Dorene Madsen; and brother-in-law, Arlen Larson.
