Bryan McKee Cisne, died on Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was born in Charlotte, NC on May 5, 1968, the son of Charles Neal Cisne, Jr and Jane Morrison Cisne. He resided with his wife, Martha Elizabeth Jones on the Isle of Palms, SC.
Bryan graduated from Myers Park High School in 1986 and actively participated in tennis, basketball, and various clubs. He went on to attend Wake Forest University, graduating in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in economics. During his time at Wake Forest, he joined the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity and created lifetime friendships with many fellow brothers. Upon graduating from Wake Forest, Bryan pursued a career at Interstate, Johnson, & Lane as a Financial Advisor and later with Smith Barney. His current work was managing private investments for the Oil & Gas Markets.
As a father, Bryan never missed the opportunity to attend sporting events or to play a round of Putt-Putt at the beach. Bryan enjoyed watching Wake sports, sharing stories with friends, grilling outdoors, playing a round of golf or just listening to his favorite music. Bryan loved spending time with his black lab either on the porch or in the yard. And whether viewing the sunsets over the ocean at the Isle of Palms or looking at the night sky over Grandfather Mountain at Hound Ears, Bryan always found the porch to be a relaxing, calm place to be with his family and friends.
Bryan is survived by his wife Martha Elizabeth Jones of the Isle of Palms, South Carolina, his children Banks McKee Cisne of Charlotte, NC and Katherine Morrison Cisne of Charlotte, NC, his stepson Thomas Wayne Schemm of Isle of Palms, SC, his mother Jane Morrison Cisne of Charlotte, NC, his brother Charles Neal Cisne, III of Charlotte, NC, and his nephews Charles Neal Cisne IV of Charlotte, NC and William Walker Cisne of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by his cousin, who was as close as a brother, John Thomas Cisne, Jr. of Murrells Inlet, SC.
Bryan was preceded in death by his father Charles Neal Cisne, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and his stepson Keith Allen Schemm, Jr. of Isle of Palms, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Myers Park Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at Heaton Hall at Myers Park Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Bryan McKee Cisne at Wake Forest University Fund for Student Experience, in memory of honoree full name, Bryan McKee Cisne.
