Bryan Gras, 63, of Rockford, Michigan (formerly of Zeeland), passed away peacefully at home on September 23, 2025.

Born in Zeeland, Michigan, to Howard and Marjorie Gras, Bryan was a lifelong learner and dedicated professional. He graduated from Hope College, earned a teaching certificate from Grand Valley State University, and a master's degree in economics from Western Michigan University.

His career reflected his deep commitment to service, community, and financial stewardship. He held leadership and financial roles throughout his life, most recently as Director of Finance and Operations at Senior Neighbors. He worked in the banking sector and with several nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, where his work helped improve the lives of countless individuals and families.

Bryan was an avid runner who completed numerous triathlons and road races. He loved golf, especially his annual golf trips with close friends. He was a lover of live music, a devoted sports fan, an enthusiastic reader, and a devoted follower of Christ. He embraced life fully and found meaning in both quiet moments and shared experiences.

Bryan was a loving father, partner, brother, nephew, and grandfather. He is survived by his life partner, Robin Cymbal; his children, Andrew Gras (Julia) and Lauren Wandell (Brandon); and his grandchildren, Evan, Theodore, and Owen Wandell. He also leaves behind his sisters, Brenda Pegg (Scott); Barbara Chalmers (Todd); his niece, Emily Jacobson; and his nephews, Joshua Pegg, Nathan Chalmers, Tyler Chalmers, his Uncle Jerry Gras, and aunts Linda Garvelink and Marcia Veldheer (Glenn).

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Marjorie Gras; his aunt, Beverly Lubbers; his uncle William Garvelink; and his aunt Sue Heinlein.

Bryan's gentle spirit, quick wit, humble faith, and deep love for family and friends will always remain his legacy.

A visitation will take place on Sunday, September 28 from 2-5pm at Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave. Holland. A funeral service will be on Monday, September 29 at 11:00am at Third Reformed Church, 111 W 13th Street, Holland.
