Bryan Lee Murray was a son, brother, uncle, friend, and mentor. He was a lover of fast cars, crazy women, and a frequent customer of O'Reilly's Auto Parts.

Working on cars was his greatest passion. If it had wheels, rust, and a busted engine, Bryan didn't see problems-he saw potential. Give him a wrench and he could work for hours. For him, the satisfaction of bringing something broken back to life was always more rewarding than anything brand new.

Bryan wasn't much for small talk-unless you brought up old Fords. He listened more than he spoke, but every word he said carried weight. He never tried to impress anyone, never strayed from his beliefs, and never apologized for being himself. Stubborn? Absolutely. But if it was a bad idea, that just meant it was a challenge-and Bryan never backed down from a challenge.

He loved simple nights: a good fire, cold drinks, and close friends. He enjoyed football, basketball, and gaming on his PlayStation. More recently, he discovered a love for cooking and baking-always proud of his creations and eager for others to try them.

Above all, Bryan loved his family. Whether by blood or by bond, if he called you family, then you were family.

Bryan is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Betty and Robert Fauley and Burton Canady; grandfathers, Bob Lee Murray I and Roger Vanderhoff; and great-aunt, Kathryn Valentine.

He is survived by his father, Bob (Dawn) Murray III; mother, Tina Murray; brothers, Bobby (Tiffany) Murray, William (James) Murray, Joseph (Sierra) Parrish, and Joshua Talbet; sister, Abbigail Parrish; niece, Ivy Murray; nephews, Remington Murray and Ashton Murray; grandmothers, Joyce Vanderhoff and Lois Murray; aunts, Sheila (Terry) Samson and Raven (Cliff) Jackson; uncles, Keith (Samantha) Vanderhoff, Robert JoeBob Murray, Pat (Stan) Cunningham, and Paul (Kathy) Cunningham; great-uncle, James Valentine; and cousins, Alexis (Luke) Morrow with children Maddi, Connor, and Emma, Phil Valentine, and Kimberly Hoskinson with Racheal.

Visitation time was observed from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the family residence located at 3505 St. Rt. 555, Malta, Ohio 43758.

Graveside services were held at 12:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Murray Hill Family Cemetery on the property.

Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home of Murray City, Ohio.
