Bryan Oneal Streeter was born on May 28, 1969, to Nellie Streater and Oscar Louis Allen in Salisbury, NC.

Known affectionately as Murdock by many friends, Bryan received his education in the Rowan County School System. He accepted Christ at a young age and became a member of Solid Rock Church of God in Salisbury, NC.

During his leisure, he enjoyed listening to music, going for extended walks, mowing the lawn, interacting on social media with family and friends, and watching television to support his favorite football team, the Denver Broncos.

Bryan Oneal Streeter passed away on July 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Major Streater, Josie Bell Streater; and fraternal grandparents: Charlie Allen, and Etta Mae Burch Allen.

He is survived by his five children: Courtney Rankin of Tampa, Florida, Kelis Granford of Salisbury, NC, Chanel Nicole Fowler of Cooleemee, NC, Maliyah Fowler of Huntersville, and Jay Shine CJ Morrison of Statesville, NC; six grandchildren; both parents: Nellie Streater of Salisbury, NC, and Oscar Louis Allen (Hattie) of Jefferson, SC; as well as his siblings: Mike Streater of Salisbury, NC, Wendell Wilson of New Haven, CT, Chris Streater of Lexington, NC, Frederick L. Allen of Charlotte, NC, Isaac Streater of Salisbury, NC, Valerie Nicole Allen of Mount Croghan, SC, and Brian Tyson (Latonya) of Gaffney, SC; along with numerous other relatives that include aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who cherished him deeply.
