Bryce Taylor Blake, a shining light in the lives of many, was born on December 27, 2000, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went and left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Sadly, on February 4, 2026, Bryce's journey came to an untimely end in the same city where he first took his breath, but his spirit will forever echo in the hearts of those he loved.
From a young age, Bryce exhibited a remarkable ability to lift spirits with his infectious laughter and warm heart. He had a unique gift for making everyone around him feel cherished and valued. Family was central to Bryce, and there was nothing he would not do for them. His beloved daughter, Iyla, was truly the light of his life. He often spoke with excitement about taking her to the zoo to see "the mingos daddy," sharing the simple yet profound joys of being a devoted father. The bond they shared was evident to all, and his commitment to her happiness was unwavering.
Bryce's love extended beyond Iyla to include his entire family, who he held dear. He is survived by his cherished mother, Jennifer Blake; his sister, Alexis Carter; and his two brothers, Noah and Elijah Blake, all of whom will miss him deeply. His grandfather, Donald Blake, and his beloved aunts, Alyssa Caudillo, Ashley Hall, and Beth and Jeff White, along with Debi and Don Blake, also mourn his passing. Bryce was a beloved cousin to Anjulian, Gracie, Natalie, Rachel, Dylan, Sean, Sara, and Ian, each carrying memories of joyful times spent together that will forever remain etched in their hearts.
In a world that sometimes feels dark, Bryce was a beacon of light and compassion. His friends and family will lovingly remember him for his unconditional love, loyalty, and the warmth he brought to their lives. Even though he has departed from this earthly realm, Bryce's legacy of kindness and laughter will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he touched.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Bryce Taylor Blake will be held on February 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel at Oklahoma City Cremation, located at 807 W Wilshire BLVD, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Family and friends are invited to gather and share their memories of this remarkable young man whose spirit will live on in their hearts forever.
