Bryce DiMattio Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Casper Funeral & Cremation Services on Dec. 19, 2025.
Bryce Andrew DiMattio 49 Of North Weymouth Mass. Passed away unexpectedly on December 8, 2025. He is survived by his son Aden DiMattio. His Parents Paula Plett DiMattio & Stephen J DiMattio. His long life partner & mother of his son, Stacey Lutz. He leaves behind two great uncles & a great aunt, 4 aunts & two uncles and many cousins.
Bryce loved Aden, he was his pride & joy, and he loved sharing his knowledge of our amazing world with him. He loved teaching Aden to ride a bike & passed on his love of building things with Legos.
Bryce found his love for traveling, moving from one navy base to another base making lifelong friends in each Place. He moved to Arizona & once again made more friends. He moved his family back to Weymouth .Where he joined the crew at McCarthy Movers & Storage to work at the job he loved. Everyone at McCarthy became his extended family. He spent many happy times with all of them.
Bryce enjoyed his favorite things, when he learned something new like buzz cutting hair, he learned just how to do that from his great uncle Mike DiMattio, who owned his own barbershop in Quincy Mass. He cut every one's hair in high school that would let him .He was artistic, his drawings lead to learning the art of tattoo and he loved putting ink on many of his friends. He wrote poetry that lead him to lyrics & sheet music for the guitar he learned to play. He loved his bike, his skateboard, fishing rod, & he spent many happy times with Lenny in Maine, as soon as it snowed, he was off to chase the snow with his snowboard.
He was kind and considerate to others always willing to help in any way he could. He loved his dogs, cat, and everyone else's animals.
Inclosing to this tribute to who my son was, I want to leave you with two words that he would say to others having a hard time, "Just Breathe"
If you have a mind to Honor his memory, Donations can be made to the Quincy Animal Shelter, 99 Quarry Street Quincy Mass or at www.QuincyAnimalShelter.org I chose this place because it is A No Kill Shelter and I know that would have made Bryce happy.

Hey Man,
I just learned of your passing and I think I´m still in shock. God, I will miss our late night talks. Thank you Bryce for being the first boy I ever kissed. We will always have our youth together in Alaska, the last 10 years of amazing friendship and music. Thank you for all the laughs, the tears, the sunrises and sunsets and being the most loyal, cocky, mischievous man I have ever met. The show must go on, but I wish you were here. See you on the flip side. Love, Mrs. Jenni AKA Hey Lady
