Bryce Kater, 83 of Marysville, died Sunday May 25, 2025 at Heritage of Marysville.
He was born June 5, 1941 in Essex to the late Kenneth N. and Verla (Holbrook) Kater.
He was also preceded in death by siblings, Michael Kater, Jerry Kater, Ruby Robinson and Kathryn Carter.
Bryce served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He had been an Ohio Sate Highway Patrol officer. He retired after 20 yrs of service as a commercial pilot for Worthington Industries. One of his favorite places to travel to was Alaska.
Surviving is his son, Greg Kater of McHenry Illinois, granddaughter, Emily J. Kater of Chicago
Siblings, Johnnie Kater of Mt.Gilead, Ronnie Kater of Richwood, Bonnie Newland of Ostrander and Carolyn Frasure of Marion
Brother-in-law, Don (Dorothy) Carter of Carey
Graveside services will be Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Price Cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America #1095.

Sincere condolences to all Bryce's family and other friends on his passing. We'll all miss his jokes and spirit! I enjoyed hearing him tell of the many vacations he took and other travels.
