Bryce Robert Oldham, born on October 8, 1940, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, passed away on February 20, 2026, in Aiken, South Carolina. He lived a life dedicated to service and commitment to others.
Mr. Oldham served his country honorably in the Air Force. Following his military service, he became a valued member of the Charlotte, North Carolina, Fire Department, where he continued to serve the community with courage and dedication. Later, Bryce concluded his career by retiring from the United States Postal Service, a testament to his work ethic and dedication to public service.
Beyond his professional life, Mr. Oldham was a man of faith. He was a lifelong member of the Eastway Church of God in Charlotte, NC, and after relocating to Aiken, he continued his worship at Millbrook Baptist Church.
Mr. Oldham leaves behind two sons, DeWayne (Lisa) and Daryle (Joy), and six cherished grandchildren: Marie, Sidney, Adelia, Kristina, Kenneth, and Aleisha. He also had the joy of being a great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren, Erika, Ronald, Abigail, and Nabi.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ann M. Oldham, son Dale Oldham, mother Helen Louise Black Oldham, father R.A. Oldham, and brothers Terry Oldham and Freddie Oldham.
A private graveside service for Mr. Oldham will be held on February 25, 2026, at Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, NC. Plans for a public memorial service at Eastway Church of God will be announced.
