Ms Brenda was extremely special to me and each time she visited Atlanta, stopping to see her was a must. She has such a legacy with many beyond her family as she always spoke her mind from her heart in all situations. She taught me through words and action that as women especially, our presence matters, our joy matters and our unique sense of self matters and to boldly embrace it all! She imbued such wisdom and her spirit was such that all felt welcomed and loved. She´s with us in spirit and I´ve added her to the ancestors to be honored daily. She´s make a significant impact on my life and as I reflect on the many deep conversations we´ve held, I will honor her memory by living each day to the fullest. To say she will be missed is an understatement. One certainty is that she will always be loved.
Until our spirits connect...Ashe

Aunt Brynda was a shining star among my favorite Aunts, radiating love and kindness that forever blessed my life. She was a treasure and I thoroughly reveled in visiting her as a teenager. Aunt Bynda and Uncle Jerry graciously treated me to my first delectable burger at Carrols, a cherished treat. More significantly, they provided unwavering support that ensured I passed my driving test with flying colors. I adored spending time with them and baby-sitting Kim and Cheri, creating unforgettable memories. Those precious moments will forever be etched in my heart. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may the cherished memories of her life bring solace to all who loved her.

Many years ago and new to Syracuse, I knew absolutely no one. Kenny first introduced me to Brynda and Jerry at their home. Additional interactions occurred at Mrs. Martin´s home during Family Sunday gatherings. I enjoyed conversations on various topics including business, design and fashion. She, along with other Family members welcomed me with kindness that was so appreciated. I am very sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear about Brynda's passing. I met her years back when she worked at Dey Brothers doing the makeup, then she went to Sibley's. She was so nice and professional. My condolences to the family.
