Judith "Pascuzzi" Murphy

Judith (Pascuzzi) Murphy, 78, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Henninger High School in 1965 and went on to attend Pawleson Business Institute.

Judy was the co-owner and operator of Murphy's Lock and Alarm alongside her husband, Jack, for 40 years. She was a devoted communicant of Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, served on the board of the Daughters of Columbus, and volunteered at the Fabius-Pompey Outreach Food Bank.

She enjoyed getting together with friends, including her breast cancer survivor group. Above all, Judy cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Jack Murphy; her parents, Samuel and Margaret Pascuzzi; and her sister-in-law, Mildred Pascuzzi.

She is survived by her loving children, John (Karla) Murphy and Maureen (Rich) Franco; her sister, Louise (Richard) Jarmac; her brother, Cosmo Pascuzzi; her six cherished grandchildren, Emma, Mason, Kaylin, Lucy, Max, and Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 12, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Farone & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Road, Liverpool. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 11 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Judith will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery beside her beloved husband.
