Bud Durham Obituary
Bud was born at the old Glendale Hospital in Palatka. He was a lifelong resident of Palatka and a 1968 Graduate of Palatka High School. He attended Providence Baptist Church in Harlem and loved the Lord with all his heart. He enjoyed gardening, raising cattle, and especially enjoyed reading his Bible. He was a good husband, father, brother, and friend, and had a very deep love for his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Habersham Clark and Lydia Thomas Durham; and brothers, Danny Durham and David Durham.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Brenda Durham of West Bannerville, two daughters, Christy Mew (Nelson) of Hollister and Heidi Bennett (Matthew) of West Bannerville; two brothers, Barney Durham (Theresa) and Bruce Durham, all of West Bannerville; a sister, Sallie Durham and a sister-in-law, Kim Durham, both of West Bannerville; one six year old grandson who was his Pride and Joy, Mason Bennett; and many aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
Calling hours will be 2 – 3 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Harlem on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Graveside services will follow in Providence Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Rudy Howard officiating.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the Putnam ICU ward. Flowers are gratefully accepted or memorial gifts may be sent to a favorite charity. Messages of sympathy may be shared on Bud's online tribute page at www.themastersfuneralhome.com.
