Bud Franklin "Frank" Turner, 82, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Floyd and Alice Turner and was married to Faye Ann May Turner, who survives.
He enjoyed a fulfilling career, retiring after 30 years with Copeland Fabrics. His hands were often busy building things and nurturing the beauty of flowers. Frank was a long-time member of Nall Memorial Baptist Church, where he formed close connections with his fellow congregants.
Frank will be remembered fondly for his gentle spirit, his love for his kitty cat, Baby, and the warmth he brought to every room he entered. He was a devoted husband to Faye Ann May Turner for 35 wonderful years. He is survived by his beloved wife, as well as his sisters, Myrtle Pennington and Enzer Perry along with her husband Bill, and several nieces and nephews who will always carry his memory close to their hearts.
Frank's family remembers him as a man of great integrity, kindness, and patience. He was predeceased by his daughter, Alice Faye Turner, his parents Floyd Jack Turner and Alice Barts Turner, and his brothers Jack William Turner, Paul Turner, and Wayne Turner, as well as his sisters Frances Sharpe and Linda Taylor.
A memorial service to celebrate Franks life will be held at 4:00PM on Friday, June 20, 2025 in the chapel at Lowe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
