Mr. Allen passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at his residence. He was born December 29, 1939, in Morgan County, to Benton Allen and Katie Terry Allen, who preceded him in death.
He was employed by 3M Company as a Maker Operator for Line D-4, Film Plant, in Decatur, prior to his retirement, from 30 + years of service. He loved taking his family on vacations and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Survivors include
Son - Buford Lee Allen, Jr.
Grandchildren - Zachary Allen and Dustin King
Great Grandchildren - Chaseton Allen, Anna Allen, Mollie King and Graicen King
Pallbearers will be Zachary Allen, Chaseton Allen, Kelly Townson, Ben Townson, Dustin King, and Don Boger.
