Bunny D. Morris

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bunny D. Morris, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left this world on February 14, 2026, just a few days shy of her 86th birthday. Born on February 29, 1940, in Charleston, West Virginia, Bunny embodied the values of compassion, kindness, and dedication throughout her life.

Bunny was a proud homemaker, pouring her love and energy into her family. She is survived by her three cherished daughters, Patricia Aquino, Gloria Angquico, and Annette Hart; two sons, Larry Morris and Danny Morris; 1 brother, Jimmie Canterbury; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Bunny was preceded in death by: Verlon Morris, Ben Canterbury, Lotti Canterbury, Loretta Lynn Morris.

Bunny's unwavering support and nurturing spirit will forever be cherished by her children, who will carry forward her legacy of love.

A devoted member of the Pentecostal Apostolic faith, Bunny found great strength and joy in her beliefs, which guided her every step of the way. Her faith was evident in her interactions with others, as she consistently offered support and compassion to those around her.

Family, friends, and all who knew Bunny are invited to join in a celebration of her life, where we will share stories, memories, and the love she so freely gave.

In honor of Bunny's memory, funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Moloney-Hewell Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard S., Jacksonville, Florida 32216. Bunny will be laid to rest in Beaches Memorial Park, Atlantic Beach, FL following the ceremony, where we will say our final goodbyes.

Bunny D. Morris leaves behind a bright legacy, and though she will be deeply missed, her love will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
