Bunny Switzer Obituary

Bunny Lee Switzer

Wilder, VT - Bunny Lee Switzer, 77, died on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her home. She and her twin sister Bonnie were born in Norwalk, CT on January 31, 1949, to parents William and Barbara A. (Newell) Switzer. During her high school years attending Andrew Warde High School she began working in the cafeteria at Fairfield University; she enjoyed interacting with the students there every day and turned it into her career for more than 3 decades.

She was an avid collector, often searching tag and yard sales and antique stores for the newest beanie baby or doll to add to her growing collections. Around 2013, she moved to Wilder to help care for her mom.

She is survived by two sisters Robyn Mackenzie of Hastings, ON, Canada and Rebecca Sniadicki and her husband George of North Carolina, many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and twin sister Bonnie.

A visitation will be held at Knight Funeral Home, White River Junction, VT on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 4 until 6 pm. A private burial will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Connecticut where she will be buried with her parents and a celebration of life will be held later this summer.
