BURDELLA R. BARTTELT
May 29, 1922 ˜ May 28, 2022

Burdella Barttelt, 98, of Vancouver, WA, passed away May 28, 2022. She was born in Marathon County, WI, to Carl and Martha Wedepohl.
Burdella worked in the Vancouver Shipyards as a bookkeeper. She married Ambrose in 1946 and enjoyed spending time with family and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. She was chairman of the Lutheran Braille Workers for 35 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ambrose; her parents, one brother and one great-grandson. She is survived by daughter, Sandy Prouty (Norm); son, Gary Barttelt (Helen); grandchildren, Julie Nylund (Rod), Lori Ellingson (Lonnie), Ray Prouty (Jani), Jake Prouty (Amy), Larry Barttelt (Shauna), Mandy Nunn (Robert); 34 great-grandchildren and 48 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens will be Monday, June 6, at 10 a.m. Visitation will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Sunday from 2-5. Memorials can be made to the Lutheran Braille Workers.
