Burton A. Ange, of Burton, Michigan, 90, passed through Heaven’s gates on January 15, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Burt was born in Detroit where he spent his early years before moving to Flint, and ultimately settling in Burton, Michigan. He was a lifetime General Motors employee.
He lived a life marked by hard work, faith in God and devotion to his family and friends. He was admired by those who knew him due to his quiet and kind manner, his steady presence and gentle humor.
At home, there was nothing Burt couldn’t fix. From cars to plumbing and everything in between, he always managed to figure out and solve the problem with calm confidence and was always ready to offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
Surviving to forever cherish his memory is his wife Grace Ange, daughters Debra Havens (Richard), Linda Thierbach (David), Karena Piedmont (Mark), son Burt Ange II and Burt’s beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A private family celebration will be held in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to Lavigne Home, a hospice guest house in Burton, MI.
