Memorial Service for Buster Jenkins, Sr., age 70, of Lone Oak, TX will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Murray Orwosky Funeral Home, Sulphur Springs, TX. Bro. Robert Cook will officiate. Mr. Jenkins passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 in Greenville, TX
Ernest Buster Jenkins, Sr. was born on July 19, 1953 in Dallas, TX to Isaac Edgar Jenkins and Annie Bell (Tyson) Jenkins. He married the love of his life Kathy Jenkins in Little Elm, TX on November 21, 1973. Buster was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved taking care of his goats, chickens and quail on his farm.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Jenkins of Lone Oak; son, Buster “Chopper” Jenkins, Jr. (Shanna) of May, TX; son-in-law, Aron Caudill; grandchildren, Isaac Davis, Shylee Hubbard (Austin), Skylar Jenkins (Wyatt), Isaiah Jenkins (Taylor), Matthew Fisher (Brianna), Harley Oakley; great-grandchildren, Remington, Shiloh, Kimber, Carson, River, Kashton, Paisley, Salem, Kailynn; sister, Jane Brannum (Merle) of Quinlan, sisters-in-law, Patty Jenkins and Brenda Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews.
Buster is preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Edgar and Annie Bell Jenkins; daughter, Karri Jenkins; great-grandson, Colt Hubbard; sisters, Joyce Jarrell, Connie Willmon; brothers, William Jenkins, Marvin Jenkins.
