I met Byron during the years that I traveled the country doing hunting shows. He was quite the personality. Attendies would rave about the show he put on. I had the pleasure to have few conversations with him. The archery community will miss him.
Rest in Peace Mr. Ferguson

Byron started his presentation at Forksville, Pa archery festival with "roll tide" knowing full well he was in Penn State Nittany Lion country. He let us all know if the arrow missed that it was his assistant´s fault for throwing it wrong. We were so rowdy razzing the assistant that he walked over at the end and we got worried, but quite the opposite occurred- Byron thanked us all for banter back and forth. He said it made his shoot very enjoyable. Shook all our hands and it was a true honor to meet a longbow legend and a fabulous gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and"Roll Tide!" Thanks Byron, mike
